Livonia Civic Chorus
Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Program

To help support and encourage young musicians in developing their talents, the chorus awards two scholarships each year to local students in the community.

  • One talented Livonia high school student receives a fully-paid scholarship for two weeks at the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Workshop or the Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Music Camp.
  • A second scholarship is given to a deserving vocal music student enrolled at Madonna University to help them pursue their studies.

Scholarships are awarded annually and each scholarship recipient is invited to perform at one of our seasonal concerts.

This most worthwhile objective of the Livonia Civic Chorus’ mission is made possible by the generous financial contributions of our members, friends and community sponsors. For more about donating to the chorus, click here.
